The Traditional Tea Room at Llangollen Wharf is one of the most popular eating places in Llangollen. Located in the old canal warehouse with fine views over the town and adjacent to the Llangollen Canal which is usually busy with boats going by.
Highly recommended all our food is prepared and cooked on the premises so that you know it will always be fresh.
We serve breakfast and a variety of light lunches throughout the day. Welsh Cream Teas are always available with our own home made scones and Bara Brith complemented by jam and clotted cream. Our speciality is our home made cakes all baked and iced on the premises. The selection varies from day to day as fresh cakes are baked daily. In addition to our regular menu we have a Specials Menu which varies from day to day.
The Tea Room is open daily throughout the year (except Christmas Day). With reduced opening times in the winter
More than just a traditional tearoom, it is a great day out.
Our highly recomended tearoom has thr capacity to seat up to 55 people inside.
We also have a large out door seatinng area with great views across the town, over the river and railway or along the canal side for you to sit and take in all the sights and sounds the canal has to offer.
There are some beautiful walks in every direction as you step outside.

( these can be preordered and boxed to take away, or ordered to be prepared and put our aqueduct cruise boat for you to enjoy on a stand with all the trimmings) Call on 01978 860 702 to pre book to take on boat trips. 24 hrs in advance 48 hrs if you have any dietry requirements. these can also be ordered on the day for visitors to our tearoom.
We have our beautiful, majestic horses for you to see as they wait to go out on the trips.
